Teens build and program robots after school in this hands-on engineering program using Arduino and 3D printing.
This after-school robotics lab gives teens ages 13–17 the opportunity to design, build, and program robots in a collaborative makerspace environment. Meeting twice weekly after school, students progress through electronics fundamentals, mechanical design, sensor integration, and autonomous programming using Arduino. Each team builds a unique robot over the course of 10 weeks, culminating in a robot competition and showcase. Students gain real-world engineering skills, teamwork experience, and a deeper understanding of STEM principles. All tools, materials, and components are provided.
Ages 13–17. Basic comfort with computers recommended.
